1. What we collect

Localey collects only what is needed to surface trusted local maps:

  • A World ID nullifier hash that anchors your "one human, one review" identity.
  • An optional display name, avatar, and wallet address you set on your profile.
  • Maps you save, reviews you write, and WLD tips you send.

We do not collect biometric data, contacts, precise location history, or third-party advertising identifiers.

2. How we use it

Data is used only to operate the service: showing curators their own maps, enforcing the one-review-per-human rule, routing tips to the right wallet, and recommending maps you might enjoy. We do not use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.

3. World ID

Localey integrates with World ID to verify that you are a unique human. We never see your iris scan or biometric template — only a nullifier hash issued by the World ID network.

4. Where data is stored

Profiles, reviews, and saved maps are stored with our managed database provider (Supabase). WLD tips settle on-chain and are never held by Localey. Data may be processed on servers outside your country; we rely on the provider's standard safeguards for any such transfer.

5. Data retention

We keep your profile data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, reviews, and saved maps within 7 days. Your World ID nullifier hash is retained in the unique-review ledger to prevent duplicate accounts and review fraud, even after deletion.

6. Sharing

We never sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising. Aggregate, anonymised metrics may be used to improve the product.

7. Children

Localey is not directed to children. Because access requires World ID verification, the app is intended for users who meet the minimum age required in their country.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your profile and all associated reviews / saved maps at any time by contacting us at support@localey.app.

9. Changes

When this policy materially changes, we'll update the date above and surface a notice inside the app.
