1. Eligibility

To use Localey you must verify as a unique human through World ID and be of the legal age required in your country. One person may hold one account — creating multiple identities is not allowed.

2. Using Localey

Localey lets verified humans discover and curate local maps. By using the app you agree to act as a single, real person and to follow community rules around respectful curation.

3. Curators

Curator status is granted by the Localey team after an external application. Approved curators may publish maps, which may be reviewed before going live. The team may revoke curator status if these terms or community guidelines are violated.

4. Reviews and tips

Each World ID-verified user can leave one review per map. WLD tips sent through Localey are routed directly to the curator's on-chain wallet — we do not custody funds and cannot refund mistaken or unwanted sends.

5. Content ownership

Curators retain ownership of the maps and notes they publish. By publishing, they grant Localey a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display the content inside the app and across distribution surfaces such as the World App marketplace.

6. Prohibited use

  • Pretending to be a different person or using multiple World IDs.
  • Posting illegal, hateful, or commercially deceptive content.
  • Reverse-engineering the verification flow or security layer.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Localey is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep curators trustworthy but cannot guarantee that every recommendation matches your taste, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Localey is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. The service may be paused for maintenance without prior notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and surface a notice inside the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's registered jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
